Change of Management in Superfos

Today it has been agreed that Kim Andersen will resign as CEO of the Superfos Group.

In the interim period until a new CEO is appointed, Torben Bjerre-Madsen will act as CEO in Superfos serving also as a member of the Superfos Board. The new Management Board in Superfos counts Torben Bjerre-Madsen, René V. Frederiksen (Finance), Benny Nielsen (Operation) and Martin Malmros (Sales).

The Chairman of the Board, Waldemar Schmidt, says: “Kim Andersen has contributed immensely in Superfos first as responsible for the Group’s central division in Germany and since 2001 as CEO. Under his management Superfos has acquired Jotipac, accomplished factory and product rationalisations thereby gaining significant cost savings and recently Superfos Pharma has been divested.”
 
It is, however, the assessment of the Superfos Board that the continued focussing of the company is better handled by a new CEO.
