Gold medal at Taropak for packaging solution SuperSeal®

At Taropak International fair in Poznan, Superfos received a Gold Medal for the new sealing solution SuperSeal® that provides food marketers with a new environmentally correct and strong packaging solution for their premium brands. Superfos’ SuperSeal® solution combines a unique closure system with demands for high quality, product safety and superb IML-decoration, for maximum consumer appeal and branding.

Advantages in production
Production efficiency is the hallmark of SuperSeal®. The key is a combined PP lid and PP seal. By offering a pure PP sealing solution the need for aluminium seal is eliminated, optimizing production efficiency, lowering environmental fees and expanding opportunities for recycling.

With no aluminium foil production is simplified and potential costs for a separate station for cardboard and costs for aluminium foil are cut. At the same time, an ultra thin lid seal area allows for short sealing time and low sealing temperatures. Finally, you can pasteurise directly in the pack which withstands autoclaving and hot filling.
