Annual Accounts 2004

The significant progress in Superfos’ operating income (EBITA) expected in the annual report for 2003 has now been realised

Annual results 31st of December 2004

2005-02-23

  • Slightly declining turnover at 344.3 m€ (2003: 352.6 m€). Adjusted for currency fluctuations and divestment, the turnover is at the same level as in 2003.
  • EBITDA has increased to 59.7 m€ (2003: 43.9m€) which equates to an improvement of  36%
  • EBITA is 29.3 m€ (2003: 13.2m€).

Superfos CEO Kim Andersen explains: “Overall, we are very satisfied with the results for 2004. Above all, the progress in earnings is due to significantly lower costs, which are a result of our work to integrate our acquisitions and implement factory rationalisations within the last couple of years. The flat development in turnover covers up a sales growth of nearly 2%, but at declining sales prices.
