Leading packaging manufacturer Superfos wins a WorldStar Award for a new packaging design that provides food and non-food marketers with a unique alternative to traditional glass jars

The newly launched packaging solution, SuperLock, from packaging manufacturer Superfos has received a WorldStar Award for a unique design solution that competes directly with glass packaging.

SuperLock is shaped by the philosophy of Danish design that optimizes functionality and aesthetics. This makes SuperLock an exceptional choice for both food products ranging from marmalades to pickled greens, sauces or mints, and non-food products ranging from toiletries to paints.

Quality of function and design
Distinct to the new SuperLock is the lock mechanism based on an easy open and close liquid tight twist system that guarantees high product safety and quality. By twisting the lid only 60°, the sealing ring comes off and lets out an airtight sound as the tamper evident band is broken. Furthermore, when the pot is correctly re-closed an audible click provides an emotional guarantee of efficient re-closure.
