The name Eco™ attached to a Superfos range name is a new sustainable packaging concept reducing CO2 footprint achieved by using post consume raw material (regrind).

A break-through in green packaging reducing consumption of resources and energy and decreases the dependency on oil. Another environmental benefit is waste reduction.

Facts about Eco line™
The Eco line concept reduces CO2 footprint by:

• Made by recycled post consume raw material, the CO2 emission is reduced 8%.
• Have natural filler added to reduce the amount of polypropylene.

On top of this all Superfos Eco™ labelled products have been screened on various general initiatives to secure sustainable manufacturing:

• Weight reduction
• Energy consumption
• Transportation
• If recycling systems is an option the CO2 emission can be reduced by 74%

Recycled post consume Polypropylene is not yet approved for food contact.
