Environmental sustainability is an integral part of Superfos' values and visions. The highest priority is given to product safety. Therefore, Superfos only uses polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) plastics which do not give off unwanted substances to contents and ensure a high level of hygiene. After usage, PP and PE can be reused, recycled or incinerated with energy recovery, or disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.

Superfos' concern for the environment is integrated in our everyday production. We are successfully reducing consumption of both resources and energy and are increasing our recycling capabilities. Due to hygienic concerns, recycled materials are only used in agreement with customers. In addition, Superfos is committed to the continuous development of lighter and thinner packaging, without compromising packaging properties. This benefits the environment during production, transportation and disposal.
